Greetings,

It’s my pleasure to welcome you to the web site of Twin Oaks Baptist Church.  Since coming to Twin Oaks in June of 2003, God has truly blessed my family by being a part of such a loving fellowship of believers.

Prior to the Lord bringing us here, I served for eleven years at Lima Baptist Temple in Lima OH.  My primary duties revolved around Family Life Ministries, but I also had the opportunity to be involved in Children’s Ministries as well as Missions, Family Counseling and other various pastoral duties.  The years in Lima taught us much about the ministry and we have tried to bring those lessons to the ministry of Twin Oaks.

My wife Tammy and I were married in 1981 in Pulaski County, VA where we both were raised.  Tammy is such a blessing as a wife and a partner in the ministry.  She has a heart for people and especially Women’s Ministries.  We have been blessed with two beautiful daughters: Cindy, who is a senior at Tennessee Temple University, (my alma mater!), and Amy who is a senior as well at Christian Heritage Academy in nearby Rocky Mt.  My family is very important to me and perhaps one of my greatest passions is for our church to be a valuable resource in helping others to develop their family as well.

I have chosen for my life verse, Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”   Faith is the key to it all.  Without faith we cannot please God, but with even a mustard seed of faith we can move mountains!  I hope that you will come and visit us at Twin Oaks as we seek to grow together in our faith.
